Q. I already have profiles in Facebook and MySpace. Why should I create another profile in iBlaast?
A. iBlaast is not meant to replace your other profiles, it's meant to enhance and increase the visibility of your other profiles. In Facebook and MySpace your profile is not seen unless you invite someone as your friend. Therefore, your profile is hidden from someone who may want to find you especially if they don't have a Facebook or MySpace account. Furthermore, social media sites are not search engine friendly. Create an iBlaast profile and anyone can find you easily. Then they are directed to the social media sites in which you belong.
Q. How do I join iBlaast?
A. iBlaast is easy to join! Click on Add Individual Profile and follow directions.Wait for approval email and activation email (Be sure to check your spam filter or junkmail).Activate your account.Add Your Info and links.
Q. How do I add My url Links to my profile?
A. Adding Network Links is as easy.Simply open a new tab in your Browser. Go to your profile page on your network Copy your url from your profile and paste into iBlaast.Note: When copying you must include the "http://"
Q. How Do I add my Facebook url link to my Public Profile?
A. Facebook, Bebo and a few other Social Network, or Social Media Sites that allow you to build a profile have what is called a "teaser profile". A "teaser profile" is a profile that can be seen if searched but to view you must log into the site. So to add your Facebook url you must be logged out of Facebook, and using the Find Friend Link at the bottom of the page- find your teaser profile. Next copy your url including the "http://" and paste into your links in iBlaast.com It's just that easy!
Q. How do I contact a profile?
A. Go to the profile that you want to contact and on the bottom of the profile page you will see: Contact this member.
Q. Why do you say: Public Profiles?
A. All profiles and information you submit within the profiles will be made public, so that anyone who visits the websites can see (except for your e-mail address which is hidden). This means your profile is public and can be indexed by search engines. Making is much easier for people to find you and increase your friend and/or group base.
Q. What if I don't want everybody to see my profile. What if I want to keep some of it secret?
A. No problem. The only fields required are your e-mail address (which is hidden) and your name. You decide what you want to put in the profile to be seen.
Q. I forgot my account information and want to modify my account. What should I do?
A. Below any account area form you will see: Forgot Password. Enter your e-mail address and click submit. Your username and a new password will be sent to you. You can then login to your account and change your password back if you would like.
Q. Why do I need to create an account to submit a profile?
A. So that you can modify your profile at any time. This protects you from unauthorized changes to your profile. Only you can change your profile information
Q. If I don't belong to a social network can I submit a profile?
A. Yes you can. You do not need to belong to other social networks to have a profile on iBlaast.
Q. Can I create one profile for myself and then different profiles for my groups?
A. Yes, you can create as many profiles as you would like.
Q. Why don't you have instant messaging, a wall, or invite friends?
A. The purpose of this website is to enhance and build your friend and/or group enrollment base and making it much easier for people to find you. Once they find you they can contact you or be directed to the social media sites in which you are enrolled. We don't want you to be bombarded with the constant communication headaches of social media sites. We only want to make is much easier for anyone to find you. From there you can do as you wish!
